Hannah Inyart enters her third season as an assistant coach with the Bearcats in the fall of 2017, supporting both the cross country and track and field programs. After both the men’s and women’s teams were represented at the NCAA Midwest regional championships in cross country for the first time in 2016, she helped track and field squads prepare for what would end up being the most successful indoor and outdoor seasons in program history. During the indoor season, Inyart helped the women’s program earn its highest Great Lakes Valley Conference team place (fourth) and guided the women’s program’s first NCAA First-Team All-American, Quincy McSweeney, in the 800-meter run along with a new school record of 2:09.02. Inyart would also helped the women’s distance medley relay break one of her own school records when she competed for McKendree. Outdoors, she helped guide McSweeney to another program-first All-American honor and school record of 2:06.17.

As a studen-athlete, Inyart paved the way for the women’s program as she closed a stellar senior campaign at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the spring of 2015. Primarily a distance runner, Inyart etched her name in the record books after breaking long-time marks at both 1,500 meters and 10,000 meters as well as several distance relays. Her times of 4:38.48 and 35:28.16, respectively, would place Inyart amongst the top GLVC times, and her 10,000-meter effort qualified her to the NCAA championships. Inyart also accumulated two All-Academic awards in her senior season, was a six-time GLVC All-Conference recipient, and earned the Council of Presidents Academic Excellence Award.

Inyart continues to train and race for the Lebanon Project, a post-collegiate running club located in Lebanon while residing in nearby Belleville.
