Directions

1) Take I-94 North
2) Go East on County Highway E for five miles
3) When you come to 30th AVE/Wood Road, turn North this leads into the parking lot
4) There is parking at the Field House and down below the hill.

Spectator Admission: All spectators $5.00
Time Schedule: 3:30 pm Building Opens

Running Events (Number next to the event are the maximum number of entries per school)
5:00 pm 4x800 m relay (2)
5:30 pm 55m wheel chair, 55 meter dash (5), followed by the 55 meter hurdles (5) (run as sections against time)
6:15 pm 1600 m (3)
7:05 pm 4x200 m relay (2)
7:30 pm 400 m (4)
7:50 pm 800 m (4)
8:10 pm 200 m (5)
8:30 pm 3200 m (2)
9:00 pm 4x400 m relay (2)

*If we are ahead of schedule, we will stay ahead of schedule. It will be the athletes’ responsibility to report on time. We will not delay the meet by waiting for athletes to report. We will put a heat on the track immediately after the conclusion of the previous heat.

Shot Put (Four athletes per school, 20 minutes to warm-up, 40 minutes for competition. Three throws)
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Lake Forest, Vernon Hills, Grayslake North, Johnsburg (1 wheel chair)
6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Warren, Grayslake Central, Waukegan, Hampshire
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Lakes, Crystal Lake South, Prairie Ridge, Dundee Crown
8:00 pm to 9:00 pm Antioch, Highland Park, Belvidere North, Elgin

Times are approximate. We will begin a section at the conclusion of the preceding section.
Long Jump (Three Athletes per school. Competition will begin promptly at 5:00 pm. No run through after 5:00 pm. Three attempts) 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
Triple Jump (Three Athletes per school. Run through from 6:45 pm to 7:15 pm. No run through after 7:15 pm. Three attempts) 7:15 pm – 9:00 pm.
*Will begin earlier if Long Jump concludes earlier.
High Jump 5:00 pm (Four athletes per school). This event will be contested on the inside of the track. Athletes will need to wear flats. We will group the athletes into two groups of 20-30, depending on numbers, going five alive with each group. Groups will be set up based off of entry heights. High jumpers will need to wear flats.
Pole Vault 5:00 pm. (Four athletes per school). The number of vaulters and ability will determine the format (one or two flights). Coaches will be made aware of the format as they enter the facility.
Event Limit: Each athlete may only participate in a maximum of four (4) events.
Concessions: Concessions will be sold by UW Parkside athletes through-out the evening.
Seating: There are bleachers along the straight away and the back stretch.
Team Camps: We will have half the teams set up camps inside of the track and the other half in the hallway outside of the track.
Spikes: UW Parkside will allow spikes to be worn, but athletes can not wear the spikes on the inside of the track.
Hip Numbers: Each individual runner will wear a hip number on his left hip. Only the anchor runner for each relay will wear the hip #.
