Course: All races are 3 miles. (See Attached Course Map)
Time Schedule:
9:30 a.m. Coaches Meeting at the Finish Line
10:00 a.m. Girls Varsity Race (7 Entries)
10:35 a.m. Boys Varsity Race (7 Entries)
11:10 a.m. Girls JV Race (Unlimited)
11:50 a.m. Boys JV Race (Unlimited)
12:40pm Awards Ceremony
* Races will start at these times and no earlier.
Markings: Red flags denote a left turn, yellow flags denote a right turn, and blue flags denote a straight ahead. The course will be double lined and single lined with natural barriers in open areas until entering/exiting the back loop of the course. Runners are expected to remain within these boundaries.
Parking: Buses will drop off athletes at the Bulldog Athletic Complex and will be able to park on site. In the case of severe weather, athletes and coaches will be redirected to their buses for their safety. There will be NO PARKING for spectators on site at Bulldog Athletic Complex except for handicapped parking. Parents will need to park at Big Hollow Elementary School off Fish Lake Road with overflow parking at Big Hollow Middle School off Nippersink Road. Grant will have shuttle buses that will transport spectators between Big Hollow and Bulldog Athletic Complex before, during, and after the meet.
Awards: The top 21 individuals in the NLCC meet will be awarded with All-Conference medals, per the NLCC guidelines. The NLCC Championship trophy will be awarded to the winner of the Varsity races. Medals for the top 21 individuals and a plaque for the top team will be awarded in the JV races.
Games Committee: The games committee shall consist of all Head Coaches and host Athletic Director Tom Ross, who will act as chairman.
Video Review: There will be a video camera at the finish of the Varsity races. If the head meet official deems it necessary to go to a video review, the games committee and the head official shall meet to determine the final results of the meet after video review.
T-Shirts: NLCC Championship shirts will be available via pre-order. More information will be sent out as soon as possible. There will be no shirts sold on site the day of the meet.
Athletic Trainers: Certified Athletic Trainers will be on site and available for your runners.
Concessions: Concessions and bathrooms will be available on site.
