2010 Highland Park Frosh/Soph Cross Country Invite
When: Tuesday, October 19, 2010
Where: Sunset Park (Directions below)
Schedule: 4:30 pm - Frosh Girls
4:50 pm - Frosh Boys
5:10 pm - Soph Girls
5:30 pm - Soph Boys
Awards: Individual - Medals Top Ten, each race
Team - Plaque to team champion in each division
Course: 2.1 mile, primarily grass (cross over some sidewalks)
We must start promptly at 4:30 due to limited daylight, please do your best to have your teams at the course ready to go. There is a pavilion at the start/finish area, where we will do the scoring, and have the awards. There are bathrooms and water fountains at the park. Runners can only race at their age level, no "running up" frosh at the soph level. This race is geared for the kids who will not be racing in the state series.
Directions to Sunset Park:
Sunset Park is located on Park Ave. in Highland Park (across from Highland Park Hospital). It is approximately 1 mile east of Hwy. 41, or .25 miles west of Green Bay Rd.
