Plains wins Auburn Meet

The Plains Girl’s Track and Field Team won the Auburn Track Meet on Monday scoring 111 points, Auburn was second with 101 points followed by Greenfield with 41.

Highlights:

Amber Clouser won the long jump with a season best jump and also won the 100 Hurdles.

Hope Tewes won both the High Jump and the Triple Jump.

Lauren Feagans won the 300 Meter Hurdles

The 4x800 Relay finished first with a season best time of 10:38.2, relay members include Carolyn Nika, Carley Hamilton, Stephanie Race and Ali Pankey.

The 4x100 Relay finished first with a season best time of 51.80, relay members include Amber Clouser, Lauryn Leonard, Lauren Feagans and Hope Tewes.

The 4x200 Relay finished in first place as well, members of that relay include, Lauren Feagans, Stephanie Race, Claire Watson and Lauryn Leonard.

The 4x400 Relay finished in first place, members of that relay include, Stephanie Race, Ali Pankey, Jillian Yakel and Lauren Feagans.

Several PR’s were established at last night’s meet, including: C.J. Schmitt in the Shot Put, Schmitt and Shae Sibert in the Long Jump, Roya Nassirpour in the 100 Hurdles, Jillian Yakel in the 400 Meter Dash, Emily Russell in the 1600 Meter Run and Lauren Feagans in the 300 Hurdles.
