Plains Girls Compete at Troy-Triad Knight Indoor Invite

The Pleasant Plains Girl’s Track & Field Team participated in the Troy-Triad Knight Invitational held at Principia College this past Saturday, February 20th. There are no team scores at this meet. Medals were awarded for 1st - 6th place in each event. Full results available at www.enduranceracetiming.com under results, Knight Invitational.

 

Medalists included:

 

Lauren Feagans won the High Jump competition with a personal best jump of 5’2”. 

Amber Clouser placed 5th in the Long Jump with a jump of 15’5.25”. Amber placed 6th overall in the Triple Jump with a jump of 31’3.25”.

Alli Morley placed 6th in the 60 Meter Dash with a time of 8.33

The 4x800 Relay of Kortney Klockenga, Madison Utterback, Ali Pankey and Carolyn Nika placed 5th overall.

Aki Pankey placed 5th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:34.38. 

The FR/SO 4x400 Relay of Laura Hauer, Anna Sprague, Sarah Schultz and Gabi Moberly finished in 6th place.

The Varsity 4x400 Relay of Lauren Feagans, Kortney Klockenga, Ali Pankey and Carolyn Nika finished in 4th place.

 

 

Competitors placing in the top 8 in their respective events included:

 

Madison Utterback tied for 7th place in the High Jump.

Kristen Kennedy finished in 8th place overall in the 60 Meter Hurdles.

The FR/SO 4x200 Relay of Baylee Vaughn, Kristen Kennedy, Sarah Schultz and Jillian Yakel finished in 7th place.

The Varsity 4x200 Relay of Lauren Feagans, Eniola Babington, Alli Morley and Stephanie Race finished in 7th place.
