Plains Girls finish as runner-up at Jacksonville Indoor Invite

The Pleasant Plains Girl’s Track & Field Team competed in the Jacksonville High School Invitational at Illinois College this past Saturday, March 5th. The girls placed second as a team among 30 competing schools. The meet winner, St. Teresa High School, scored 72 total points. Plains scored a total of 61 points. Meet highlights include:
 
60 Meter Dash: Alli Morley, 6th place.
200 Meter Dash: Alli Morley, 2nd place.
400 Meter Dash: Lauren Feagans, 7th place.
60 Meter Hurdles: Amber Clouser, 3rd place.
4x200 Meter Relay of Lauren Feagans, Alli Morley, Lauryn Leonard and Hope Tewes, 1st place.
4x400 Meter Relay of Stephanie Race, Carolyn Nika, Lauren Feagans and Ali Pankey, 2nd place. 
High Jump: Hope Tewes, 4th place; Lauren Feagans, 6th place.
Long Jump: Amber Clouser, 2nd place; Kortney Klockenga, 6th place.
Triple Jump: Amber Clouser, 4th place.
 
The girl's next meet is scheduled for Saturday, March 12th at Eastern Illinois University in the Charleston High School Indoor Invitational.
