Spartans travel to Olivet Nazarene and have a good day

The Spartans traveled to Bradley Bourbanais and Olivet Nazarene University.  They finished in 8^th place out of 16 teams.  Leading the way for Spartans with 2 top 7 finishes and 1 team top 6 finish was Jayden Green.  Jayden finished in 7^th place in the 60 meter dash (7.29) and hit a career pr of 7.22 in the prelims.  He came back to finish in 5^th place in the high jump with a height of 1.80m.  Then in the 4 x 200 meter dash, Jayden kept the team alive by avoiding a huge pile up at the 2^nd exchange and maintaining the lead.  Jayden, along with Joe De La Rosa, Daveon Smith and Taofiq Shogbuyi finished in 6^th place with a season best time of 1:37.69.  De La Rosa and Smith came back and teamed up Christian Marin and Josh Carli (9), in the 4 x 400.  The team finished in 6^th place.  Carli also finished in 5^th place in the open 400 (54.66).  Also leading the way for the Spartans with 2 top 3 finishes was Jacquille Brown.  Brown first hit a career PR in the long jump and finished 3^rd with a 6.46m jump, which is 21’.  He came back in the triple jump and hit 12.80m (41’) for a 3^rd place finish.  Also in the triple jump, Dotun Adelabu finished in 6^th place with a distance of 12.48m.  The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Kamerin Casa, Danny Loza, Leo Perez and Josh Kamuda also finished in sxth place.with a season PR  of 9:09.82.
