Spartan Invite Wrap Up

On Friday night, the Track & Field team competed in the Oak Lawn Invite.  The Crusaders won by the slimmest of margins, 92.33-92 over the host Spartans.  The meet came down to the final event which required a victory to capture the team title.  The 4x400 team of Brian McElligott, Tommy Gleeson, Brendan Coghlan, & Ty McCoy delivered with an exciting & convincing win.  Josh Boulanger was a double winner in both the long jump & triple jump.  Other event winners included Gleeson in the 800m, the Frosh/Soph 4x800 team of Eddie Burke, Mikey Corcoran, Matt Quattrocchi, & Harrison Morg, as well as the Frosh/Soph 4x400 team Burke, Corcoran, Adrian Campos, & Joe Eloby. The team will be back in action tomorrow at Marmion Academy before returning home on Friday night to host the 12th Annual Rice Relays.
