CCL Championships Wrap Up

On Saturday, the cross country team hosted the catholic league championship at Lewis University.  The freshmen team placed 5th led by Charlie Walsh (11th) & Sean Sullivan (18th). Joey Bowes, Troy Bever, and Ryan Sommerfeld rounded out the scoring.  The varsity team's top performer was senior Jimmy Maguire in 18th who earned All-Catholic League honors.  In all, fifteen athletes set personal bests, including major breakthrough races by Sean McNally, Alex MacFarlane, Jordan Harris, & Declan McGuire. This Saturday, the team travels to Thornridge for the IHSA regional to defend their title.
