Lions Pride Invite Recap

On Saturday, the cross country team opened up their season at Lyons Township.  The best finish of the day came from senior Andrew Straley who placed 12th in a highly competitive varsity race with a 5k time of 15:26.  Other notable performances came from Oliver Davis, Declan Nieto, & Dylan Cody who all finished in the top 35 in the JV race.  Bobby Casey was the top finisher in the freshman race. This Saturday, the team will travel to historic Detweiller Park in Peoria for the 'First to the Finish' Invite.'
