CCL Championship Recap

On Saturday, the cross country team competed in the Catholic League Championship at Marmion Academy.  The varsity team placed 7th overall.  Andrew Straley was the individual champion dominating the race from wire to wire, and setting a course record in the process.  Award winners at the sophomore level were Wyatt Cosme (18th) & Kieran McGarry (20th).  Travon Clay (12th), Aiden Krofta (17th), & Declan Callaghan (20th) helped the freshmen team to a 3rd place team finish.  This Saturday the team will compete in the IHSA Regional hosted by Argo in Bedford Park.
