Plains finishes in 3rd at Sangamon County Meet

The Plains Girls placed third overall at this year's Sangamon County Track & Field Meet. Winning the meet was Rochester, with Auburn finishing in second place.

Plains highlights included:

The 4x100 Relay team of Amber Clouser, Lauryn Leonard, Lauren Feagans and Hope Tewes finished in first place with a time of 51.99.

Ali Pankey placed first in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:28.13.

Lauren Feagans placed first in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 50.58.

Hope Tewes won the High Jump with a jump of 5'4".

Amber Clouser won the Long Jump with a leap of 15'9.50".
