Varsity and Fr/So teams have a good meet against Providence and Metea Valley

The Spartans competed against Providence and Metea Valley on Friday.  The Varsity Spartans scored 89 points to win the meet.  The Spartans won 10 of 13 events.  Winners for the varsity were:

Daytwone Burge - 55m HH

Joe Otchere – 55m dash, 200m dash

Dan Ford – 2:05.6

The 4 x 160 relay team

Jacoby Jones – 400m dash

Manny Buendia – 1600m run

Xavier Jones – Long Jump and Triple Jump

Amiri Buchanan – Shot Put & 55m Big man’s race

Chris Kerwin – HighJump

The Varsity Spartan’s are off until the Downers Grove South Relays at North Central College.

The Frosh/Soph team scored 71 points to win the meet.  The Spartans won 8 of 13 events.  Winners for the Spartans were:

4 x 160m relay

Tyler Rehbock – 55m HH & 400m dash

Kejuan Stamps -  55m dash

Joey De La Rosa – 200m dash

4 x 400m relay

Enoch Antwi – Long Jump and Triple jump
