Lakefront Invitational Wrap Up

On Saturday the cross country team traveled to Montrose Harbor to compete in the 41st Lakefront Invitational.  The varsity team placed 5th in the 22 team field.  Dan Spellman was the top finisher  for the Crusaders in 6th place.  Sophomores Eddie Burke and Mikey Corcoran had their second strong race in three days.  Jimmy Maguire & Tommy Gleeson rounded out the scoring.  The frosh/soph team took 7th led by Sean Deane in 28th place.  The team has a bye this weekend before returning to action on Saturday October 14th as they host the Catholic League Championship at Lewis University.
