The Circuit Recap

On Saturday, the track & field team competed in 'The Circuit' at Gately Stadium. After a long day of competition starting before 9am, the highlight of the meet was the 2 mile race at 7pm.  Andrew Straley ran a dominating race to set a PR & take the victory. His time of 9:19.86 is a new indoor school record and is #2 All-Time, just .27 seconds off the overall record!  He is currently ranked #3 in the state. Other top performances came from Matt Pikus (2nd in the shot put) & Emeir White (2nd in the long jump, & 4th in both the 60m & 200m).  This Saturday, the team will travel to North Central College along with 24 other schools for the ICOPS Invite.
