Illinois Meet of Champions Recap

On Saturday, the track & field team competed in the "Meet of Champions' at Gately Stadium.  For the 2nd time in 3 days, Dan Speski was the pole vault champion.  Andrew Straley placed 3rd in the 'Elite' 1600m breaking his own school record in the process. His time of 4:17.16 qualified him for the New Balance Indoor National Championships. Tonight, the Crusaders return to Gately to compete in the Bronco Relays hosted by Kenwood.
