Enrollment/Classification History

Girls cross country was a one-class sport from 1979 to 1987.  In 1988, schools were divided between Class A (smaller schools) and Class AA (larger schools), which had already been in place for boys cross country since 1976.  Both boys and girls cross country switched to a three-class system in 2007.

Older enrollments and classifications are difficult to find with limited information available online, so not all information posted below is complete.
